A Blogtastic 2010

Half a year ago, in June, I started this blog. It’s only 6 months old! Then, today in my email I got a wonderful report from the folks at WordPress who updated me on my stats for the year.  And here’s what they found on the overall health of The Sandal…

Healthy blog!

The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads Wow.

A Boeing 747-400 passenger jet can hold 416 passengers. This blog was viewed about 2,400 times in 2010. That’s about 6 full 747s.

In 2010, there were 42 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 461 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 306mb. That’s about 1 pictures per day.

The busiest day of the year was September 24th with 76 views. The most popular post that day was Day 18: You and Michelle. (This was the day that we came back from Eilat to find ourselves separated at Al Aqsa because of the Silwan riots).

Where did they come from?

The top referring sites in 2010 were facebook.com, networkedblogs.com, mail.yahoo.com, mushafteacher.com, and healthfitnesstherapy.com.

Some visitors came searching, mostly for ramadhan al mubarak, dhul hijjah, the one-touch mus’haf teacher, prophets sandal, and sandal quran.
